Linea Unika has come up with a brand new, groundbreaking product line that completely changes and innovates the concept of complementary feed: it is called Unika Balls and it is much more than a line of horse toys. Unika Balls are balls that your horses can lick all day long, thanks to their natural fiber ropes they can be hung in stables or trailers. Unika balls are not only a way to entertain your horses, but they are also a completely new tool to enrich their diet with some important substances, such as official plants, electrolytes, vitamins, minerals and much more. Indeed, while we all think of complementary feeds such as powder or liquid products to add to the daily ration, Unika Balls are a complete innovation: they are complementary feeds!
The Unika balls are available in 4 different types to meet the most common needs of horses.
Unika Balls - Elyte: designed to provide horses with mineral salts, which are essential all year round to replenish horses losing through sweat.
Unika Balls - Gastro: Developed for horses with sensitive stomachs. It contains some important phytotherapeutic ingredients, such as charcoal and licorice, which are helpful in maintaining stomach well-being. Unika Balls Gastro is a valuable addition for all horses that describe anxiety as an upset stomach, because it stimulates the production of saliva, which is alkaline and therefore naturally counteracts stomach acid.
Unika Balls - Herbs: Contains a blend of balsamic herbs, such as thyme, rosemary and mint.
Unika Balls - Prequalm: Contains magnesium, passion flower and lemon balm and is therefore intended for all horses who want to increase their serenity and better control their emotions.
But that is not everything. Unika Balls are handmade, made in Italy products, which consist of 93% vegetable ingredients. They are rich in fine raw materials, such as rice and soya, and do not contain grains or sugars: therefore they can also be given to horses that do not tolerate grains, horses on a diet with a low glycemic index and sport horses that exercise intense muscle activity. The sugar intake of sport horses should indeed be reduced as much as possible, because sugars would increase the lactic acid production
