Saddle fitting in Turkey
Part of our customer base is located in Turkey. Some of them in beautiful Istanbul but some also in southern Antalya. That is why Bart occasionally visits customers there to check the saddles we supply and measure them for new saddles. When he is there, new customers often come in who also want to have their saddles checked or measuring for new ones.
After our visit to the Spoga Horse in the Messe in Cologne on Saturday February 3, one of the most important B2B fairs in equestrian sports, Bart left again on Sunday morning for a 4-day trip to Turkey.
Istanbul
The first destination was Istanbul. After a successful flight, Bart arrived in the afternoon and was the first to visit the Istanbul Equestrian Sports Club (IASK). This is a large complex in the middle of the city with more than 200 horses. This club has existed since 1956 and unites jumping, dressage and pony club activities. The club organizes training and competitions at national and international level to support the development of athletes and horse lovers.
He helped some customers there with their saddles and also brought a visit to the competition that was being held on the club at that time.
On Monday morning he visited new customers and was given a tour of the beautiful Linder Club, a Equestrian center under construction. Then on to the next destination on the other side of the Bosphorus (the waterway between Europe and Asia), this is a smaller training- and tradingstable of about 40 horses.
Tuesday morning he visited new customers, who heard of Bart's presence at the last minute, at the Dila equestrian club. A beautiful large accommodation located just outside Istanbul. And he was also able to carry out a number of saddle checks and measurements here.
Antalya
In the afternoon to the airport for the flight to Antalya.
After arriving there early in the evening, the taxi was ready for a ride to a beautiful hotel with a sea view where he could enjoy a good dinner. In the morning we visited the customer in Antalya at a very beautiful stable.
In the afternoon he left again for the return flight to the Netherlands because that is where the customers are, of course, waiting also and he was back just in time for Carnival!
